Packaging Machine Operator

We are currently seeking a Packaging Machine Operator to join a large, well-known beverage manufacturing facility located in Milton, QLD, producing some of Australia’s most recognized products.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating and monitoring automated packaging, wrapping, and palletizing machinery
• Shrink wrapping and heat-shrink processes
• Clearing machine jams and performing basic troubleshooting
• Replenishing packaging materials (cartons, trays, glue, wrap)
• Feeding flat packs into machinery and monitoring product orientation and coding
• Completing quality checks to ensure packaging standards are met
• Maintaining cleanliness and safety of the packaging line
• Supporting minor maintenance and general machine operation tasks

kills & Experience

• Previous experience as a packaging machine operator in a manufacturing environment is mandatory
• Experience with shrink wrap and heat-shrink systems preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and confidence using hand tools
• Understanding of LOTO procedures desirable
• Forklift Licence required (infrequent use)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Ability to work rotating shifts across Day, Afternoon & Night shifts
